This is what we run

Playwright opens the store. Vision reads the screenshot.

Not a checklist PDF. A real mobile capture of a live site — flagged issues, trust score, plain-language notes. Example below is an actual scan of glossier.com.

glossier.com

Real scan · Playwright capture + vision review

6/10
Mobile scan of glossier.com

Clean layout, but a new phone visitor cannot see price or find other products. Gray CTA blends into the page.

  • ·No prices shown for the product
  • ·No way to see other products or categories
  • ·The 'Shop Boy Brow' button is gray and blends into the background

Philosophy

Figure it out when the obvious fix failed.

Most advice is recycled. Most tools are dashboards. Most freelancers disappear after the invoice. Lare Labs exists for the mess after that — books that do not tie, stores that look fine but do not convert, payouts that never match what you thought you earned.

FAQ

Common questions

What this site is — and what it is not.

  • What is Lare Labs?+
A small product lab. We publish research on fees and ops, ship free tools, and turn the best workflows into digital products.
  • Is Look Check really free?+
Yes. Paste a Shopify or WooCommerce URL. You get screenshots and flagged issues. Email is optional.
  • Is this a service business?+
No. Core focus is product and research. Direct help is limited and mostly for edge cases that feed product direction.
  • What becomes a paid product?+
Any repeated workflow with clear ROI: if operators ask for it repeatedly, we package it.
  • Are you a CPA?+
No. QuickBooks ProAdvisor focused on payment ops and reconciliation. Tax advice stays with your CPA.
  • Who writes the reports?+
Cameron Lares edits every piece. Research and charts are assisted; the voice and conclusions are human.
